Terms of Service

Last updated 27 August 2026

These terms govern your use of MotoLoadout, operated by Cotheria LLC d/b/a MotoLoadout. By creating an account or using the site, you agree to them. If you do not, please do not use the site.

Who may use it

You must be at least 13 years old. You are responsible for everything done through your account, so keep your password to yourself. One person, one account.

Fitment information is a starting point, not a guarantee

Verify fitment with the part manufacturer or a qualified mechanic before you buy or install anything. This is the most important sentence on this page.

MotoLoadout aggregates compatibility information from manufacturers, retailers, published catalogues, and riders. That information is frequently incomplete, inconsistent between sources, and occasionally wrong at the source. We review what we publish and label how confident we are, but we do not physically test parts on motorcycles, and we do not warrant that any part listed as compatible will actually fit your motorcycle.

Some of that review is automated. Product and fitment information is gathered from source websites and assessed by software, including AI, before it is published. Automated review is held to a confidence threshold and checked against rules that involve no AI, and a person can override any of it — but it is not the same as a human having confirmed every row, and you should not read it as such.

Fitment can turn on details we may not capture: your model’s market or trim, a mid-year revision, an ABS or quickshifter option, or a modification a previous owner made. A part marked requires modification means exactly that — cutting, drilling, or additional hardware may be needed, and that work is your responsibility.

Motorcycle parts affect how a vehicle behaves. Brakes, suspension, steering, wheels, tyres, lighting, and exhaust systems can affect safety, and some modifications affect road legality, emissions compliance, insurance, or your warranty where you live. Those determinations are yours to make. If you are not certain a modification is safe and legal, have a qualified professional do the work.

Prices and availability

Prices shown are the most recent we have recorded and are frequently out of date. They may exclude tax, shipping, and fees, and a part may be priced differently for different motorcycles. The price at checkout on the merchant’s site is the only real one. We do not sell parts, hold stock, process payments, or handle returns.

Affiliate disclosure

Some links to merchants on this site are affiliate links. If you buy something after following one, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you.

This does not influence what we list or how we describe it. Parts are not ranked, promoted, or given better fitment ratings because they earn us money, and merchants do not pay for placement. If that ever changes, it will say so here and on the page in question.

Your content

You keep ownership of everything you post — builds, photos, reviews, and forum contributions. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, display, and distribute it for the purpose of operating and promoting MotoLoadout. That licence ends when you delete the content, except for copies already made by others or retained in backups for a reasonable period.

Only post content you have the right to post. Do not upload photos you did not take or otherwise have permission to use.

Conduct

Our Code of Conduct is part of these terms. In short: no harassment, no spam, no fake reviews, no scraping or automated bulk collection of the site, and nothing illegal. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break those rules.

Copyright

If you believe something here infringes your copyright, see our DMCA policy for how to file a notice. We remove infringing material and terminate repeat infringers.

No warranty

MotoLoadoutis provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any information on it — fitment, pricing, or specifications — is accurate, complete, or current.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cotheria LLC d/b/a MotoLoadout is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, arising from your use of MotoLoadout — including losses from a part that did not fit, a price that had changed, a purchase from a merchant, or a modification you performed. Our total liability for any claim relating to the site is limited to one hundred US dollars ($100).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Cotheria LLC d/b/a MotoLoadout against claims arising from content you post, your use of the site, or your breach of these terms.

Ending your use

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these terms, and we will explain why unless doing so would be unlawful or unsafe.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts located there.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date above records the last change, and continuing to use the site after a material change means you accept it.
