About MotoLoadout

MotoLoadout answers one question properly: what actually fits my motorcycle, what does it cost, and what did other riders end up choosing?

Every part of that is currently miserable. Fitment lives in a hundred retailer dropdowns that disagree with each other. Prices sit in browser tabs. And the most useful information of all — what someone with your exact bike actually fitted, and whether they would do it again — is scattered across forum threads, Instagram captions, and comment sections, in no order at all.

Where this came from

Ten years of riding, starting on a 2016 Yamaha R3 and now on a 2026 R9, and the same routine every time: fourteen tabs open, three forums contradicting each other, and a part number that may or may not be the one for this model year.

The honest version of why this site exists is that its founder is a rider, not a master mechanic. That is not a disclaimer — it is the design principle. Because we are not the experts, we do not ask you to take our word for anything. Fitment is sourced, labelled with how confident we are, and reviewed by a person before it is published. Where a claim comes from a manufacturer, it says so. Where it comes from riders, it says that too.

How it works

Tell us your exact motorcycle. Browse parts that fit it, with the compatibility stated plainly — direct fit, requires modification, or not compatible — rather than left for you to infer. Assemble a build and watch the total. Then make it public, and see what everyone else with your bike did differently.

That last part is the point. A parts catalogue tells you what exists. A build tells you what worked.

What we will not do

We do not accept payment for placement, and no brand can buy a better fitment rating. Some outbound links earn us a commission — that is how the site is funded, and it is disclosed in our Terms — but it has no influence on what we list or how we describe it.

We also will not pretend to certainty we do not have. Fitment data is genuinely difficult, and anyone claiming a complete and perfect motorcycle compatibility database is selling something. Where we are unsure, the site says so.

MotoLoadout is built and operated by Cotheria LLC d/b/a MotoLoadout — a small team of three: Drew, Alex, and Jonny.
