To ensure the lightweight aluminum sprocket is able to withstand the rigors of street and track use, each sprocket receives a special hard anodizing to significantly increased hardness and wear resistance. An ultralight chainwheel means less unsprung weight and rotating mass, which results in quicker acceleration, quicker turn-in and better corner grip.
