This new filter features two layers of differing foam density with a unique system between them to ensure equal airflow to all four cylinders in your BMW while providing the engine protection MWR is known for. The increased and evenly spread airflow helps your engine reach it's true potential without the need for different fuel mapping between cylinders. With two versions available, you can select the filter that meets your needs. The Performance air filter provides increased airflow with maximum protection, and only needs to be cleaned and re-oiled once a year*, while the Race Air Filter provides the same level of protection for a shorter period of time and should be cleaned and re-oiled after each race weekend. Don't let the pros have all the fun, get the same air filters used by top factory teams and unleash your BMW. *Performance Version: The MWR Performance Air Filter should be checked at least once a year (may vary due to your riding environment and frequency) and should be cleaned and re-oiled at that time. *Full Race Version: The MWR Full Race Air Filter provides the same excellent quality air protection as the Performance, however for a shorter time period. We highly recommend checking the air filter after each race weekend. It does not reduce inlet noise and is not recommended for road use.
