Features of Evotech Race Fuel Tank Pad (48mm) for the Honda CB1000RR-R Extends length of the fuel tank by 48mm Improved rider position for better cornering and stability Ergonomically shaped to follow the curves of the Honda fuel tank Lightweight TPU rubber Race-proven Evotech design, as seen on Evotech Performance supported race bikes Ā Do I need an Evotech Tank Extender? The honest answer is that depends on you! Whilst the seat size for the Honda CB1000RR-R remains constant, the size of each rider can vary to quite a degree. The Evotech Race Fuel Tank Pad pushes the riderās seat position further backwards, for improved control or comfort whilst offering authentic race bike aesthetics. Originally requested by race teams hoping to achieve a greater aerodynamic ride position, the Evotech Tank Pads can be purchased in a range of thicknesses to suit a range of rider sizes.
