Evotech Front Caliper Bolt Set (Road) - BMW S 1000 R Features of Evotech Front Caliper Bolt Set (Road) ā¢ Produced in-house at Evotech Performance ā¢ Cap Head stainless steel caliper bolts: direct replacement for OE bolts ā¢ EPās model-specific design replicates bolt length, thread and pitch for a secure fitment ā¢ 316 austenitic (marine grade) stainless steel for exceptional corrosion resistance ā¢ Rolled threads for increased durabilityĀ ā¢ 8mm allen key head ā¢ Evotech Front Caliper Bolt Set provides a full set of bolts specific to your motorcycleĀ ā¢ Independently tested to conform to ISO 3506 by a UKAS ISO 17025 accredited test house Ā Why should I choose Road-style Evotech Front Caliper bolts? The front brake on any motorcycle is a high-pressure, hard-working mechanism which deserves the highest quality motorcycle parts. To ensure a secure attachment of the front brake calipers to the front forks, with a little of the Evotech Performance classic styling, we have introduced Evotech Performance Front Caliper Bolts (Road). Each bolt is CNC-machined from rust-resistant marine grade stainless steel and has a model-specific design to tackle alignment āfloatā which can impact braking performance. Choosing between the Road and Race version of the bolts is a question of rider preference. The bolt stem does not change, only the head design varies. The EP Road bolt head is tapered with machined detailing for a clean aesthetic and can be easily installed using an 8mm allen key. Whichever bolt style you choose, Evotech Front Caliper Bolts offer your motorcycle the perfect braking accessory.Ā Ā Note āBefore fitting, it is essential that careful comparison of the Evotech bolt to the OE part occurs to ensure a like-for-like replacement, including length, bolt pitch and thread. Incorrect fitting bolts could impact brake application and, therefore, rider safety. Evotech Caliper Bolts are listed as replacements for manufacturerās original equipment fitted in the make year of the specific motorcycle model. Occasionally, anomalies, updates and supply changes occur. Ā Note ā for model specific torque settings, please refer to the manufacturerās handbook. It is recommended that periodic inspections are made to ensure that all bolts remain tightened to the correct torque setting.
