Evotech Front Caliper Bolt Set (Race) – Ducati Scrambler Desert Sled Fasthouse Features of Evotech Front Caliper Bolt Set (Race) • Produced in-house at Evotech Performance • Hex Head stainless steel caliper bolts: direct replacement for OE bolts • EP’s model-specific design replicates bolt length, thread and thread pitch for a secure fitment • 316 Austenitic (marine grade) stainless steel for exceptional corrosion resistance • Pre-drilled hex head for safety wire (lockwire) use • 12mm hexagon head • Flange bolt head provides secure bearing surface • Evotech Front Caliper Bolt Set provides all required bolts to directly replace OE parts • Independently tested to conform to ISO 3506 by a UKAS ISO 17025 accredited test house   Is the ‘Race-type’ Bolt Set suitable for my road bike?    Yes, they are. Provided you’ve ordered the correct set for your motorcycle, the main specifications (thread pitch, length etc) are the same as the Evotech Road equivalents. The difference is the ‘head’ is a 12mm hexagon, and features pre-drilled holes to utilise lockwire, which is a regulatory requirement in mainstream racing classes worldwide. However, if you want to have the ultimate race-replica bike, or live for track days, then Evotech Front Caliper Bolt Set (Race) are an ideal add-on and safety aid. More importantly, Evotech Caliper Bolt Sets are CNC-machined to exacting, repeatable tolerances to ensure consistent caliper mount alignment and braking performance.      Note –Before fitting, it is essential that careful comparison of the Evotech bolt to the OE part occurs to ensure a like-for-like replacement, including length, bolt pitch and thread. Incorrect fitting bolts could impact brake application and, therefore, rider safety. Evotech Caliper Bolts are listed as replacements for manufacturer’s original equipment fitted in the make year of the specific motorcycle model. Occasionally, anomalies, updates and supply changes occur.   Note – for model specific torque settings, please refer to the manufacturer’s handbook. It is recommended that periodic inspections are made to ensure that all bolts remain tightened to the correct torque setting.
