Lever protectors originate from motorcycle racing, designed to prevent accidental application of the brake lever. However, it is not just on the racetrack that they prove their usefulness. Unwelcome incidents could be avoided when the motorcycle levers are protected by the Evotech Brake Lever Protector Kit for the Yamaha XSR900 GP. Machined from a single piece of aluminium, the robust lever guard and stainless steel bar end weights are powder-coated for additional durability. The motorcycle parts are then added to the handlebars, once the OEM mirrors have been removed, using Evotech’s model-specific design for a seamless attachment.   Note: The original Yamaha Bar End Mirrors must be removed before fitting Evotech Brake Lever Protector Kit to the Yamaha XSR900 GP.   Note: When fitting Evotech Brake Lever Protector Kit, it is the rider’s responsibility to ensure the motorcycles throttle action (correct free-play, smooth opening and closing of the throttle, etc) is not impaired in any way. EP Brake Lever Protectors are designed to be used only with the OE throttle tube and handlebar grip.
