BT Moto Stage 1+ Performance Calibration w/Handheld Tuner 2026 Aprilia RS 660/Tuono 660 Through careful testing of the stock ECU and Aprilia Race ECU calibrations, we identified 22 power maps and limiters holding back the otherwise stout powerplant. While the Tuono version is often rated lower (around 94 hp in some markets/configurations), the final tuned output matches that of the RS 660—meaning bigger gains for the Tuono, as it comes more restricted from the factory. With full in-person datalogging in our closed dyno cell, street riding, and GPS speed testing, we determined exactly what the engine likes and dislikes. By carefully logging ignition timing, per-cylinder fueling, and thermal management limiters, we created an excellent calibration that delivers strong performance across all temperatures and fuel octanes. Our Stage 1 Aprilia RS 660 ECU flash converts the bike to full “Alpha-N” fueling while utilizing the factory oxygen sensors for precise fuel corrections on and off throttle. Improvements in throttle response, rideability, cruising, and of course power, were immediately apparent. In 60–130 mph testing, we achieved a full second improvement from stock to flashed. Advantages with Stage 1 On average, gains of 4 hp peak and 10 hp under the curve over stock—and even more for the Tuono. While this may not seem like a huge peak gain, we shaved over a full second off the 60–130 mph sprint. 2000 rpm more usable peak power over stock, carried all the way to redline (see dyno tab). Early fan-on: At 200°F, your Aprilia begins pulling power to protect the engine. We lower the activation temperature to prevent this power loss and avoid stalling in stop-and-go traffic. Optimized fueling changes—including part, mid, and full-throttle—in Alpha-N configuration, applied per cylinder. Ignition timing optimized at part and mid-throttle for all fuel qualities. Blipper up- and downshift learning activated. Torque limiting adjustments to allow the bike to deliver 100% of available engine torque under high load. RPM limiter raised from 11,500 rpm to 12,200 rpm. Engine braking adjustments for road course use. Improved factory-unstable idle for smoother, more consistent off-throttle behavior. Full 100% throttle opening enabled in all modes (vs. factory-limited tables). Gains from midrange to redline on all fuel qualities, with no power loss anywhere in the RPM band. Ability to fully derestrict A2 35 kW-restricted bikes to full horsepower. Full race fuel remapping, capable of 110 whp with complete supporting modifications.
