Akrapovič Racing Line for the Yamaha R9
The maker's claimed gains for its R9 system: about 3 hp at 10,000 rpm, road legal in Europe.
Akrapovič's Racing Line exhaust for the R9 pairs a titanium muffler sleeve and end cap with a stainless-steel link pipe, headers and pre-muffler.
Akrapovič claims 2.2 kW (about 3 hp) more than stock at 10,000 rpm and 2.6 Nm more torque at 9,500 rpm, measured on its own dyno against a stock R9. No remapping is required, and the system carries EC/ECE type approval (Euro 5+), which makes it road legal in Europe. Check your own state's rules before assuming the same in the US.
These are the manufacturer's numbers, not an independent test. We have not found a back-to-back test of R9 exhausts on one dyno; when one appears, it will go here.
